You Are Now Entering the Twilight Zone

I have had a lot of requests for twilight exteriors the past few months. These are a lot of fun to shoot - they are like putting together a puzzle. Each finished photo is a combination of multiple photos, usually around 15-20 images. Here are a few of my favorites.

Twilight Photography

I have had quite a few requests for twilight photographs this past month and have been pretty busy most evenings. With the unpredictable weather, it has been a bit of a challenge dodging thunderstorms. All of these were photographed for Ebby Halliday Realtors

Don't judge a book by its cover - part II

A recent shoot for Elly Holder and Gretchen Brasch of Briggs Freeman presented me with a home whose facade gave no clue to the unique personality the interior held. Elly and Gretchen are always fun and easy to work with and they both really helped out in the staging and styling for the photo shoot.

The house was a real challenge to photograph, but that's what made it fun.

Turtle Creek Penthouse

This year kicked off with a bang. January is usually fairly slow, but this year things are different. I got the year started by photographing a beautiful penthouse listed by David Nichols of Allie Beth Allman and Associates.

What a Way to End the Year

My last shoot of the year was of a penthouse at the Ritz Carlton Residences for Sharon Quist of Dave Perry-Miller and Associates. The shoot had its challenges, from an abundance of sunlight pouring into the west-facing rooms to capturing the twilight views of downtown. It fas a fast-paced shoot, but one that was a lot of fun. Here are a few of my favorite images.

Downtown Views

One of the great aspects of shooting real estate/architecture in Dallas is the wide variety of styles that are available. I had the please of shooting a modern high-rise home recently for Joseph Gullotto at The Azure. With plenty of glass and sweeping views of downtown, this home was both fun and challenging to photograph.

Preston Hollow Homes

Earlier this year I photographed a beautiful home in the Preston Hollow neighborhood of Dallas. Another Realtor saw the photos and liked them so much that she asked me to shoot her new listing, just several houses down the same street.

Both homes were extremely beautiful and a lot of fun to shoot. The first home (also pictured above) was on a double lot and was listed by Ryan Streif of Dave Perry-Miller & Associates.

I photographed the second home for Elly Holder of Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty. Again, a really striking home and a challenge (in a good way) to photograph.
