Earlier this summer I photographed a home in the Vaquero community, just outside Dallas, that had me feeling as if I was in the wine country. As beautiful as the home is, it was the grounds that really set it apart.

Buyer's Choice
A recent assignment came with a bit of a twist. The photos were not for the listing agent, but were requested by the buyer. He really liked the way the home was decorated and wanted to have photos before the seller packed up and moved out. The house was absolutely beautiful and I was thrilled to be able to get in and shoot before the moving process began.

Interior (Re)design
I recently photographed a project for Gianna Cerullo of Dave Perry-Miller and Associates. She is not only the listing agent, but she handled all of the interior design, from the finishes to the furniture.

A Day at the Lake
Dallas interior designer Carrie Roby asked me to photograph a lake house she recently completed. Her two-year project resulted in a beautiful lake home that uses splashes of bright color against a palette of neutrals.
We spent most the day photographing the interior. The weather was a little unkind - very cold, gray and windy - so we weren't able to get much from the exteriors.
Here are a few photos from the project.

Mediterranean-Inspired Estate
I was recently asked to photograph one of the premier estate properties in Dallas for Dave Perry-Miller and Associates. The grounds are every bit as beautiful as the interior of the home. Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot.

Social Media Portraits
I've been working on a project for a new company that creates websites for small companies. I was requested to shoot portraits of the employees, but to do something creative.
I started with a simple headshot, but went for a lighting scheme that was a bit different for me. I used a beauty dish over the camera as the key light, and then filled with a ring flash. After getting a headshot of eachvictim employee, I had them hold an iPad or cell phone up in front of their face. I then pasted in their portrait during post.
Overall, the portraits have been well received.
